This event is for Community Action Agency Board members only.
A high-performing organization depends on a strong and healthy partnership between its board and CEO. In this interactive peer learning session, Mandy Zalich, CEO, and Alan Blahovec, Board Treasurer, from Westmoreland Community Action, will share practical insights on defining and respecting the distinct roles of governance and management, establishing healthy boundaries, and fostering trust and accountability. Through real-world examples and lessons learned, they will explore how boards and executive leaders can work together effectively to strengthen organizational leadership, improve decision-making, and advance mission impact. As part of the CAA Board Cohort's peer-learning network, participants will be encouraged to share their experiences, challenges, and best practices, fostering rich discussion among both board members and executive leaders.
